July 24, 2015. Millington, Tennessee.<\/strong>\u00a0On Friday, July 24th Mr. Walter Perry, the United States Small Business Administration\u2019s (SBA\u2019s) Tennessee District Director, presented Unistar-Sparco Computers, Inc. with the 2015 8(a) Small Business of the Year Award for the State of Tennessee. The award presentation took place at the company\u2019s headquarters located at 7089 Ryburn Drive in Millington.<\/p>

Distinguished guests, such as Jeremy Jordan of Congressman Steve Cohen\u2019s office, George Little on behalf of the City of Memphis for Mayor AC Wharton, Jr., Shelby County Mayor Mark Luttrell, and Kate Armitage of the City of Millington\u2019s Mayor Terry Jones Office were all present for the auspicious occasion. Moreover, four Proclamations were bestowed upon the company \u2013 one by each of the elected officials.<\/p>

At the event, Soo-Tsong Lim, President, shared, \u201cWhat an honor to be recognized for our hard work, innovative ideas, and dedication to the community. This would not have been possible without the outstanding contribution of each and every member of our Unistar-Sparco team who have clearly demonstrated that as we work together, we achieve great things! I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the local communities of Memphis and Millington for their unwavering support since our move here in 2003. We will continue giving back to the community through our support of the local schools, donating holiday meal baskets, and supporting other non-profit organizations.
