Vendor Relations Manager

Position Summary

As a Vendor Relations Manager, you will work as a liaison between vendors and our organization. You will be responsible for curating high level relationships with new and current OEMs, suppliers, and teaming partners for our customers. You will also be involved in driving and maintaining vendor programs, marketing, and training, as well as reviewing and negotiating terms of vendor contracts and communicating with vendors regarding day-to-day matters. You will also collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify new opportunities and drive revenue growth. Additionally, you will work with the Proposal team to review documents, understand SOW, and perform additional assignments as requested. This position may or may not be on sales commission plans, depending on your experience and performance.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field) preferred.
  • Understanding of the IT world and its products and services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%) to various states across the US.

IT Sales Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team, including recruitment and onboarding.

  • Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs.
  • Identify emerging IT markets and trends.
  • Ensure compliance with sales, finance, and legal policies.
  • Liaise with Marketing & Business Development for brand consistency and increased sales.

 

Requirements:

  • Leadership with a deep knowledge of Sparco’s solutions and client assessment abilities.
  • Proven business acumen, including managing budgets and evaluating technology.
  • Proficiency in strategic models such SWOT and SMART Goals.
  • Positive approach to clients and team members.
  • Analyzes client behavior and market trends to coach the team for optimal performance.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and ethical behavior.
  • Experience in the IT or technology field.
