Sparco is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a Comcast RISE grant! This grant is a comprehensive package that includes business consultation services, educational resources, a monetary grant, creative production, media schedule, and a technology makeover.

Comcast RISE is committed to supporting the growth of all small businesses, while advancing the objectives of diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as community investment. The program was created to help businesses and their communities thrive with a focus on economic growth. “As a Minority Business Enterprise, diversity is one of Sparco’s core values and an integral part of our business,” said Sparco president SooTsong Lim. “We are thankful and honored to receive this grant, and we pledge to utilize these resources to further strengthen our capability and capacity to best serve the Shelby County community” 

Sparco is excited to be able to expand upon our technical knowledge, and we aim to use these resources to help educate our community on emerging technologies and best practices. “Having stayed up until 4:30 AM completing this application, I can confidently say it was worth it. We put in the extra effort with the hope that Comcast was truly able to understand who Sparco is, our mission, and our values.” said Eduardo Perez, Director of Operations. “We pride ourselves on our diversity and our what-ever-it-takes approach to guaranteeing our clients needs are met. We couldn’t be more pleased that this resonated with the Comcast RISE team.”
