Can I return my hardware purchase?

If you encounter a defect with a hardware product purchased with Sparco.com it will be exchanged or repaired, at our option, unless it is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, in which case Sparco.com will assist you in dealing with the manufacturer. This policy does not apply to refurbished items, discontinued items, liquidation items, all OEM products, and all products marked ‘REFER DIRECT’ or ‘NO RETURN’. You must obtain an RMA number within 30 days of date of purchase.

ALL refurbished products can be returned for REPLACEMENT ONLY, if the product was purchased within the last 30 days. The manufacturer will trouble shoot the product directly with you. If the manufacturer is not able to fix the problem, then they will issue you a case number. We will process the return and immediately ship a replacement unit once we receive the case number and information from you. What is an RMA number?

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is an identification number issued to a customer who needs to return an item back to Sparco.com for an exchange or credit. It is very important to have the RMA number posted outside of a return package in order to properly process any exchange or credit.

How do I get an RMA number?

What do I do once I have an RMA number?

After you receive your RMA number, you must return all disks, registration cards, boxes, packing materials, and other accessories supplied by the manufacturer to us within 10 days of the RMA number being issued. You receive prompter service on your refund/exchange by calling or emailing us with the tracking number. Replacements are shipped the next business day after the receipt of the return and credits are posted within 21 days of receiving the return. We reserve the right to refuse for return or charge a restocking fee for damaged or incomplete returns or when the manufacturer’s/distributor’s warranty or return policies supercede ours–this special circumstance is clearly noted on the product’s page with ‘REFER DIRECT’ or ‘NO RETURN’. RMA numbers are required for all returns. Returns must be sent prepaid via UPS, FedEx, or any carrier which provides a tracking number and must be insured. SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. Replacement shipping charges will be paid by the customer. Any returns in unopened packages are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Any returns in opened packages are subject to inspection and a 25% restocking fee and must be accompanied by all manuals, accessories and original packaging. Any return not properly packaged in a shipping box will be refused and returned to the sender. We are unable to offer price protection on items currently én-route to you or being re-routed. If a product you purchased goes down in price, we cannot issue a refund or take a return at the original price.
