How We Collect Information
During the order process you are prompted to supply us with your contact, billing, and shipping information. This information must be provided in order to complete a purchase and is used to complete your order and contact you regarding your order
When enter Sparco.Com’s domain you are sent a cookie. The cookie is used to identify you while you are at Sparco.Com and to keep items in your shopping cart between visits.
You do not need to accept our cookie in order to browse at Sparco.Com. But to shop and order from Sparco.Com we use a cookie to hold an Order number and a Customer ID so that our system can identify you.
Information that We Collect
To process your order, we require you to supply us with your correct billing, shipping and contact information.
The transfer of information is secure and cannot be received or read by others. Our systems use state-of-the-art SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology which utilizes 128-bit encryption to ensure that your information is transmitted to us safely, with no possibility of another person intercepting and reading your information. Our system also stores all sensitive information on tightly secured and monitored systems which prevents your information from being easily viewed by anyone but you. Once your order has been processed, your information is backed-up and deleted from our primary systems until needed to complete a new order. We cannot delete your information permanently from our system due to accounting requirements. We will be happy to disable your account so that no one else can use it.
Your information is only shared when necessary to complete your order (i.e., your credit card and billing information is shared with our bank for authorization and your delivery address is shared with our shipper).
Standard connection information (provided by your browser) is also collected by Sparco.Com. This information includes the type and version of your browser and the operating system you are using.
How to Change Your Personal Information
Unfortunately we cannot change any personal information after you have completed one order. Personal information is defined as your Billing Address not your Credit Card Number or your Shipping Address. You can change your shipping address, but you must have that information on file with your credit card company as a valid shipping address. If you need to change your billing address please create a new account.
Federal Trade Commission Information
As an Internet retailer we are in a growing and evolving environment that is governed by the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) statutes on Mail or Telephone Order Merchandise. As such we are required to:
Notify the customer of ANY problems with shipping out the products they have ordered within the given time frame for shipping. As per information from the FTC to:
“You[SPARCO.COM] should know that all shipping representations, expressed or implied, are covered by the Mail Order Rule. For example, saying we[SPARCO.COM] ship MOST items within 48 hours” implies to consumers that you[SPARCO.COM] will ship their particular order within 48 hours.”
Unistar-Sparco is constantly checking our system looking for any orders that have shipping problems. If any do arise we send out an updated ETA to our customers so that they can be constantly up-to-date. Also customers can check on the status of their orders online to see any problems that there might be with an order. Provide Warranty Information to the customer.
Unistar-Sparco offers a thirty-day (30) warranty on all products that we sell in addition to any manufactures warranty that may exist. Our policy regarding our warranty and product returns can be seen at returns.
